BLOG 5 Five day trek Great Wall of China

Day 5

Trek from Jinshanling to Simatai – another remote section, far from tourist trail. Trekking time 8-9 hours. See links below for itinerary and just giving pages

Jo’s Activity for October

Increased the walking but sadly didn’t manage to get out on my bike as much as I would have liked.  As you can see Bowls has
definitely taken a back seat at the moment due to the end of the summer season but this will start increasing again now with the winter games etc. Hopefully, I
will also increase my swimming over the winter so figures next month should look a tad healthier. Hopefully, we can also get a regular weekly walk going and rope
in some other like-minded people.

Onwards and upwards as they say.

We both have started taking walks and our first lovely walk together was along the Hilsea lines on an early Sunday morning. To make it more interesting we both took our camera’s and took some lovely autumnal pics.
