We are incredibly excited to announce that Survivors Of aBuse Charity (1166712) has been chosen to be part of the Co-op Local Community Fund from October 2024 to October 2025! This is an amazing opportunity for us to raise crucial funds to support adult survivors of childhood abuse across the UK.

At SoB, we empower survivors to address and rebuild their lives after enduring various forms of abuse, including mental, physical, sexual abuse, bullying, domestic violence, and neglect. Many of our clients have experienced multiple forms of trauma, which can leave lifelong scars. Our mission is to help them heal, recover, and move forward.

How You Can Get Involved

If you shop at the Co-op, you can support our cause simply by selecting SoB as your chosen charity when you shop, no matter where you live in the UK. All you need to do is use our unique link:

To take part, you must be a Co-op member, but it only costs £1 to join. Once you’re a member, you can select SoB as your cause, and each time you shop, you’ll be helping us raise much-needed funds for the next 12 months.

Funding is essential to help us continue providing support to survivors. To date, our charity has been funded through individual fundraisers, lottery grants, and one corporate partner. However, as a small charity, we face challenges in securing larger funding streams often reserved for more established organisations.
