Independent Inquiry Child Sexual Abuse

Independent Inquiry Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA) Recommendation 4 Child Protection Public Awareness Campaign.

It is clear child sexual abuse is far more common and far more hidden than most people realise or want to comprehend.

Over 7,000 survivors told the Inquiry how their voices were ignored, minimised or dismissed.

Most were abused by someone they knew — often in the family home.

IICSA said: “There is still a marked underestimation of the scale of child sexual abuse.”

Recommendation 4 called for a national public awareness campaign. It never happened.

So we’re delivering it.

Survivor Voice (Representative):
“I told someone once. They didn’t want to hear it.”

SEE IT. SAY IT. SORT IT.
