We’re EVAS 2025 Finalists! Not For Profit Category

We are beyond proud to share that Survivors Of aBuse (SOB) has been selected as a finalist in the 2025 Enterprise Vision Awards (EVAS) in the Not-For-Profit category.

The EVAS are the UK’s most prestigious awards celebrating the achievements of women in business, and being shortlisted is not just an honour—it’s a platform to raise awareness of the life-changing work happening behind the scenes to support Survivors Of aBuse.

🌟 A Word from Our Founder, Christine Tuck:

“Being named a finalist in the EVAS 2025 Awards is a powerful moment—not just for me, but for every survivor whose voice has gone unheard for too long. Our programmes are lifesaving. They provide the language, tools, and community needed to truly heal.

With greater awareness, support, and funding, we can reach more people, break more cycles, and build a future where survivors are not just surviving, but thriving.”

💬 Why This Matters: Real Voices, Real Impact

We work with people who have survived unimaginable trauma, many of whom have spent years—sometimes decades—without the right support. Our holistic psycho-educational programme is designed not just to listen, but to transform lives.

Here are just a few powerful excerpts from recent participants:

“Before the programme, I felt lost, overwhelmed, and powerless… I had felt suicidal for a long time… Now I realise that change is possible, and life can offer something more.” — S

“This programme showed me that surviving and moving forward isn’t just for yourself—it’s for the generation that comes after you.” — J

“I realised I’m not crazy, but a survivor of abuse—and that I’m perfectly normal.” — N

“I’ve learned that I didn’t fail— I’m moving forward which means I’m winning.” — F

These aren’t just testimonials. They’re evidence that when you give people the right tools and a safe space, they begin to heal, hope, and thrive.

🙌 What’s Next?

We’ll be joining other incredible women-led organizations at the EVAS 2025 awards ceremony later this year, celebrating the work being done to create a better future across all sectors.

🤝 Help Us Make a Bigger Impact

We’re using this platform to raise awareness, attract funding, and build partnerships. Every bit of support goes toward reaching survivors who are still waiting to be seen, heard, and supported.
