πŸ’™ Trustee Farewell: Thank You, Diane πŸ’™

As we say farewell to a founding Trustee, we reflect on nearly a decade of service, compassion, and leadership that helped shape SoB into the charity it is today.

πŸ’™ Thank You, Diane β€” For a Decade of Dedicated Service πŸ’™

As we mark Remembrance Day this year, we also take a moment to remember and honour someone very special within Survivors of aBuse (SoB) β€” our long-standing Trustee, Diane Sealey, who has stepped down from the Board on 11 November 2025 after nearly a decade of dedicated service.

Diane has been part of SoB since the very beginning. Her commitment, insight, and steady guidance have played an integral role in shaping the charity’s direction, values, and development over the years. From our early grassroots beginnings to becoming a registered charity delivering life-changing programmes across the UK, Diane’s contribution has been invaluable.

She has brought not only professionalism and governance expertise but also compassion and a deep belief in SoB’s mission β€” to support adult survivors of childhood abuse and break the cycle of trauma for future generations. Her quiet strength, wisdom, and sense of integrity have supported us through every stage of growth and challenge.

As Diane steps down, we want to express our deepest gratitude for everything she has given β€” her time, her knowledge, her heart, and her steadfast belief in what SoB stands for.

On behalf of the Board, our team, and all those whose lives have been touched by SoB’s work β€” thank you, Diane, for your unwavering service, friendship, and dedication. You have helped lay the foundation for everything we are building today, and your impact will continue to be felt long into the future.

With heartfelt thanks,
Chris Tuck
CEO & Founder
on behalf of the Co-Chairs and Trustees of Survivors of aBuse (SoB)
